Arashi & Sorata's love story is pretty tragic in X.  Arashi, one of the Seven Seals, meets Sorata, a Buddhist monk for whom it has been prophesied will die protecting the woman he loves. When he sees Arashi he immediately decides she's the one; and so it goes..  However! On a happier note, we see these two as a happy couple again in the Hanshin Republic in Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles :)
